Brilliant piece of kit for CCTV installations. The PoE voltage checker saves me constantly running back to the NVR to see if the port is pushing power. Highly recommended.
The TDR length measurement is incredibly accurate. Found a break in a CAT6 run behind a plasterboard wall within 30 seconds. The included MCBAZEL power cable was a nice bonus too.
Great tool that rivals much more expensive brands. The only downside is it takes AAA batteries rather than being USB rechargeable, but it lasts ages anyway.
Port flash feature is a lifesaver in messy server cabinets. I can finally trace unmarked wall ports back to the patch panel without unplugging half the office.
I was looking at a Klein Tools tester but took a chance on this Mcbazel kit. It does everything the premium brands do-wiremap, PoE, length-for a fraction of the cost. Superb value.
Used for maintaining our university lab networks. The LCD screen is clear, the menus are intuitive, and the NCV detection on the probe is very handy for avoiding live AC wires.
Solid build quality and the tone probe is nice and loud. The carry case keeps everything neat in my toolbag. Would give 5 stars if batteries were included.
