An absolute lifesaver for CCTV installations. The PoE voltage detection tells me instantly if the switch is providing enough power for PTZ cameras before I even mount them. Brilliant bit of kit.
I used to carry a basic continuity tester and a separate multimeter. This MCBAZEL unit does it all. The TDR length measurement is incredibly accurate-found a break in a CAT6 run exactly 14 metres in, just as it said.
Great build quality and the port flash feature saves me hours in messy server rooms. My only minor gripe is the carry pouch could be slightly larger to fit extra patch leads, but the tool itself is faultless.
As a network infrastructure manager, I buy these for my entire field team. The digital scan mode completely eliminates the background noise you get with cheaper analogue toners. Outstanding value for money.
Next day delivery was spot on. Used it straight out of the box to map a new office layout. The LCD screen is bright and clear, and the NCV feature is a nice safety bonus when poking around live cabinets.
Very capable tester for the price. It handles standard and non-standard PoE perfectly. Took a few minutes to figure out the TDR calibration for a specific brand of shielded CAT6a, but works perfectly now.
Far better than the premium branded tester I lost last month, and at half the price! The USB-C charging is so much more convenient than constantly buying 9V batteries. Highly recommended for UK trades.
